This is the online gallery and artist website of Matthew C. Smallen, a Portland Oregon artist who works with oils in both realistic and abstract styles. He painted privately for 25 years, then in 2017 he established Smallen Studios to bring his work to the public art market for the first time. The Abstract page contains all original paintings that are currently for sale. The Still Life and Drawings pages are bodies of selected realistic work for display purposes and are not currently for sale.
